Job Title: Grant Analyst
Location: Puerto Rico (Local Candidates Only)
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in auditing federally funded grant programs and possess strong compliance and analytical skills. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish and will be based in Puerto Rico.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and record all project documentation in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain an organized file management structure, ensuring compliance with all applicable procedures.
Identify, evaluate, and validate the Record of Environmental Consideration within project documentation.
Complete required calculations to determine eligible costs for payments and verify necessary documentation within the system of record.
Conduct thorough review and validation of project documentation.
Review and validate procurement documentation to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Assess and confirm compliance with duplication of benefits requirements for each project.
Follow standard operating procedures to conduct eligibility reviews for match payments.
Perform preliminary and full evaluations of project compliance.
Provide necessary assistance in the review and recommendation process or any other assigned procedures.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution plus two (2) years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Grant Program Auditing Experience: Must have experience auditing federally funded grant program processes, including but not limited to:
Document and process auditing
Policy review and implementation
Compliance review
Invoice review and validation
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Public Assistance, CDBG-DR, CDBG-MIT, ARP-A, or Infrastructure Bill projects.
Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written communication required).
Location: Must be currently residing and working within Puerto Rico.
